Washington, D.C. – In response to Home Republicans failing to expel Consultant George Santos from Congress, MoveOn Political Motion Govt Director Rahna Epting issued the next assertion:
“George Santos belongs in a courtroom—not in Congress—and he must be faraway from workplace instantly. Kevin McCarthy is attempting to hold on to his razor-thin majority by dragging out and delaying his duty to expel George Santos from Congress. Kicking this duty over to the Ethics Committee at this level is only a delay tactic to protect MAGA Republican energy and proceed to embarrass the individuals of the third District in New York whom George Santos deceived. Santos already plead responsible to fraud fees in Brazil, and on daily basis he’s allowed to stay in Congress, the individuals of his district are denied credible illustration.
“The Complicit Caucus Republicans from average districts are those enabling McCarthy and his MAGA lieutenants, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, to proceed to guard their slim majority and permit a serial liar and fraudster like Santos to stay in workplace. Because of this MoveOn has introduced a seven-figure marketing campaign to arrange greater than 600,000 MoveOn members in these Complicit Caucus districts to name out and take away them from workplace.”
