New York artist Nathaniel Mary Quinn on making artwork that displays who we actually are

He grew up in Chicago in some of the harmful housing initiatives in America. At 5, he found he had a expertise for drawing… and that gang leaders would provide him safety in trade for showing in his comedian books. Now 4 many years on, he’s a revered New York artist whose work has been proven all around the world, from London to LA and Turin. He’s right here for his first solo present in Paris known as “The Forging Years” on the Gagosian gallery.
